Toddler Board Book : Mealtime ( R+G)

Parents and caregivers want toddlers to develop healthy eating habits and table manners. With Verdick’s keen ability to speak directly to little ones and Heinlen’s delightful, appealing illustrations, Mealtime offers the perfect tool to engage little ones in a happy, healthy time at the table.

Part of the award-winning Toddler Tools™ series, Mealtime can be shared before (or even during) the desired “time,” or whenever toddlers need encouragement with social skills and daily routines and transitions.

If you had read my previous reviews on Toddler Tool Series, you would know how "essential" these books are for toddlers. My son has learned a great deal of good stuff from these books. He even takes them to his daycare to read with his friends and they all love to read these books.

The latest release from Free Spirit Publishing is the " Mealtime" book. I have started to go through this book with my son during mealtime to reinforce the fact he has to "sit" during mealtime. How would it be to have a toddler who wants to go for a walk after each bite? Oh and he will have only a maximum of 6 bites or so. It is very true that children learn by looking and observing. And the beauty of this book is the simplicity with which it is written and the adorable illustrations. Since he liked the previous books from Free Spirit, he was rather very curious to know what was in this book. Slowly, he is beginning to learn how he has to conduct himself during mealtime. To me, if he sits down with the realization of what he is eating and gobbles down some healthy food, that would be an awesome mealtime!

Mommies of toddlers ! You will not regret buying this book for $7.95 as it is so worth it!

Did anyone see what happened with this boy who was saved from a fall in Henrico, VA by hanging on to the gutters on his house? Check out http://www.gutterhelmet.com/blog/boy-saved-by-a-gutter/ to see it, that was a close one!
