Want to get your kids to clean up? Kidorable can help ! ( + Giveaway) 6/17 ( US / CAN)

Spring time calls for a cleaning spree and if you did not get started yet, it is never too late to start! Sometimes we postpone because we are scared to face the "mountains of mess " that  accumulate as kids won't clean up their own room.

I make it a point to involve my son in my cleaning chores and he is trained to clean up toys, put used clothes in the laundry basket and put shoes in the rack. He has been good so far.He takes pride in being mommy's little helper!

Sometimes we need to be creative to get kids  involved and stay motivated.I do not claim to be a person who is brimming over with creativity. I am someone who will ask my BFF, google for ideas. While there are number of ideas that one can come up with, time is a big factor that will have a say on how many ideas can really turn into useful products. Clothes closet is  a good place to start cleaning up and get oneself organized.

Here's a creative idea that will motivate kids to keep their clothes (or at least some of them).

Kidorable has a cute line of hanger sets that children will love to use.I definitely don't see myself making cute hangers like these - thanks Kidorable for making it easier for me!
Farm Hanger Set
Fairy Hanger Set
They are priced between $17-$27 for 5 or 6 hangers per set. If you have a color theme for your child's room, these might be a great addition. The hangers come in two sizes so that both younger and older kids will get to have fun organizing their clothes!

Do you want to try them? You can get 20% off your entire order when you purchase their impossibly cute Kidorable Hanger Sets

From June 11 through June 18, just use coupon code CLEANUP2 at checkout on www.kidorable.com.

Why won't they make such fun hangers for adults?!

Kidorable is offering one lucky reader the chance to win a set of Kidorable Hanger Set!

My oldest is only 2 1/2 year old so she still not quite understand about clean up. But now she will start putting away her toys in her toy box after she finished playing with them

My son always picks up his toys and he is very helpful if I ask him to do something. He also helps me "fold" laundry. I just thank him for a good job and refold that later lol

When I have my grandkids here they do help me clean up. We always cook together so they are constantly putting things into the garbage/recycling etc. They also like to help grandma with laundry!

My nephew is a huge help to his mum and loves to clean everything in sight with his own, special cloth that she got for him. It's very sweet to see him helping out. :)

Ha ha ha...no. Well, my 4 year old likes to "clean" but first he will make a mess (draw all over the wall for example) so that he can clean it. He does like to help fold and put away laundry though. My baby LOVES to sweep and vacuum, and will purposely throw all his cereal or cookies on the carpet and jump up and down on it so that I have no choice but to bring the vacuum up. So, no. They don't "help" clean lol

They do...most days. We have an after dinner chore chart to help get the kitchen/diningroom clean after dinner.

Absolutely and have since they were 1.5 (they're now 2.5). The tasks are relative to their age but they clean up their room, put things in the recycling, clear their place settings, hand me clothes pins. They love helping (for now...).

My 3 year old does. Sort of. He usually makes more mess than he cleans, but he tries and he loves being the helper. The baby, not so much, haha!

Yes...I do the cleaning. I can't stand a mess

Tracie Brown said...

Not technically! She is still young, but she does walk over to put her trash in the trashcan or put her clothes in the dirtly laundry basket!
