Logitech has an interesting gift idea for all ages - I say that because even my 3 yr old knows what right and left click in a mouse is. Gadgets has become extremely user friendly and Logitech has many accessories for computers and laptops.

I was sent a  M310 Wireless Mouse for review. It comes in really fun designs and cool colours.

Some of the features as mentioned in the website:

Hand-friendly design

The full-size, contoured design with soft rubber grips feels good in either hand—even after long hours of use.
Plug-and-forget nano-receiver
So small and unobtrusive, you can plug it into a USB port and forget about it. Plus, you can say good-bye to worries about lost receivers.

12-month battery life

You can go for a year without battery hassles. An On/Off switch and smart sleep mode extend battery life, while an indicator light eliminates surprises.

Logitech Advanced 2.4 GHz wireless connectivity

You get the reliability of a cord with wireless convenience and freedom—fast data transmission and virtually no delays or dropouts.

What I really like about this mouse is the on/off switch located at the back of the mouse. As it a a wireless mouse, you can keep the mouse functioning longer by increasing the battery life. Comes with a battery and the battery compartment is a slide-down type.

It is very comfortable to hold and work as it has a thin, soft rubber grip running along the sides of the mouse. I can rest the 3 tall fingers on the mouse. Other 2 fingers have no space, but it hasn't caused my hand to hurt.

Great for messy work spaces as you don't have to make space for the cable and deal with the tangles. My husband likes to use it for laptop .

We had no tracking issues and it works very well. Response time has been very quick so far.

It comes with a tiny nano-receiver and all you have to do is plug it in the USB port and you are ready to click away. I always have the nano-receiver plugged in on my desktop and it is tiny enough to leave it on a laptop.
