The Cat in the Hat, Sally and Nick help a lost reindeer find his parents, only to find that he was a really special reindeer with special tasks on hand!  Totally adorable and will make a great stocking stuffer!

The Gruffalo's Child was an enjoyable movie to watch and my son adores it. We were glad to have the book that came with the DVD. One of our best reads and we never get bored of it!

As usual another great release from NCircle and just perfect for the winter season. Cat in the Hat is not only fun to watch but children learn through the story about "how" and "why" some things are the way they are. The concept of featuring the penguins and another bird was very well done. Both are birds but penguins do not fly. It helps children to reason and make them curious about what they are watching. My son loves to watch it over and over again! He learnt a new word "hibernation" and the cuddly bear makes it easy to understand what "hibernation" stands for.

I always recommend Cat in the Hat and this DVD will be definitely enjoyed by children!

My son enjoyed this DVD as much as any girl would have. When I first saw it, I thought my boy would would hand it right back to me and say "Pink DVD is for girls". Anyways, I hid the cover and just played it and told him that we were going to watch a new DVD. "Who's that little girl?" he asked. "Her name is Chloe and she goes on magical adventures from her closet when she takes out different costumes and wears them". "Oooh, MAGICAL ?! " he exclaimed. He loved the stories especially the "Ice Skater".What better time than snow-clad winter to see how much fun you can have this cold season!

"The Gruffalo" from NCircle Entertainment ( R+G) 8/19

Ncircle continues to provide remarkable entertainment for children..this time with a real classic. You will just fall in love with this movie after you watch it. Children will watch it over and over again! So, what's a Gruffalo? Ask the mouse. 

The mouse who just wanted to enjoy a nut is faced with hurdles before he reaches his destination where he will enjoy all the nuts he would want. Sounded simple.But it became an herculean task as the mouse looked delicious to some bigger members of the forest. The mouse apparently had a brain much bigger than the biggest members of the forest. The twist in the story can easily be anticipated by adults but, children will watch in high anticipation of who is going to eat who! 

This movie is a short and cute story and a perfect example of how a storybook can be brought to life. We watched it for a Friday Family Movie Night and it was nice to watch something without any violence and having to fast forward because of something being inappropriate for my son. 100% child friendly.

NCircle Entertainment - Animal ABC's and Animal 123's (R+G)

NCircle Entertainment has some great entertainment for kids. I have reviewed several titles from NCircle and have loved them all. And so did my toddler, without a doubt! He asks to watch them over and over again.

This time what I received for review for something that we ALL at home loved watching and hearing. It is an awesome DVD set from Animal Atlas series.

It is a very simple but BEAUTIFUL presentation for children of ages 2-6. It is full of  animals that children ( even a 2 yr old) love to watch and pronounce their names. The videos are of high quality and the clarity is amazing and perfectly natural. It is very soothing to watch animals in their natural surroundings and my son loved to repeat the names and the alphabets. I would love to introduce my son to the other DVDs in this collection.

What makes this product excellent is the way in which it is presented. While the background is full of the animals in their natural estate, alphabets in bright, big and block letters appear in the foreground in sequence with the sound. It makes it perfectly relevant and very visible. It helps in the eye, ear coordination which is very important while watching and listening.

Develop early reading skills with WordWorld's " The Train Escapade "( R+G) 4/29

My toddler is lovin' it! This is a PERFECT DVD for a toddler as the letters of the words are bold and big, short enough to be registered in their little minds. And the stories? Sweet, simple and short. I really like the simple story of how the Pig makes a "get- well -soon soup" for the ant who is sick. The way they introduced the concept of "rest in bed while you are sick" is just simply catchy for a young mind.

Well, this DVD is all about words. But not the boring types where there are only words and words and more words. For my almost 3 yr old, the words, story, singing and dancing by the animal characters has made a very good impression on him. He wants to watch it over and over again. And I am happy as he will not only be memorizing the words but also learn to read.

There is a little bit of phonics involved too and I like how it is kept simple. Love the story lines and it is totally an awesome educational DVD to develop early reading skills. Thanks NCircle and keep them coming!
