Hasbro's Elefun Game - 5/13 ( R+G)

Hasbro has always made playtime more fun for my little one. If you have toddler who is full of energy, this is a fun game. The Elefun has been aptly named knowing how much fun this little, adorable elephant has in store for a child.

Motorized elephant blows colorful butterflies into the air. Kids practice catching skills with handy butterfly net, or gather butterflies where they land. Adorable baby elephant is over 4 feet tall during play! Includes Motorized Elefun Body, 4-Foot Trunk, 4 Butterfly Nets, 30 Butterflies, Instructions. 4 "C" batteries required (not included).  

It was very easy to set-up. The elephant can be separated into 2 parts.Put batteries. Make the nets with the fabric and the plastic handle that is provided. Put the butterflies into the base and press the elephant. It blows air through the trunk and the butterflies flutter out. Since the trunk is pretty long the butterflies go up .

I wish the motor was built with more power so that the butterflies won't get stuck inside at times. Since the air blowing out is not forceful enough, sometimes there was trouble to continue the game. Use the net to catch as many of the butterflies as you can.  My son and I had an awesome time with it and look forward to use it when we have children come over.An adult has to be present to put the butterflies back in. Maybe skipping the batteries and using it on power would be better if there are more children and the game can last for a while. But there is no option to use power so make sure you have enough batteries to keep up the fun!

The elephant is made to withstand a toddler using it.Quite sturdy and well built. It is a good game that will encourage hand-eye coordination and of course body movement.

Develop early reading skills with WordWorld's " The Train Escapade "( R+G) 4/29

My toddler is lovin' it! This is a PERFECT DVD for a toddler as the letters of the words are bold and big, short enough to be registered in their little minds. And the stories? Sweet, simple and short. I really like the simple story of how the Pig makes a "get- well -soon soup" for the ant who is sick. The way they introduced the concept of "rest in bed while you are sick" is just simply catchy for a young mind.

Well, this DVD is all about words. But not the boring types where there are only words and words and more words. For my almost 3 yr old, the words, story, singing and dancing by the animal characters has made a very good impression on him. He wants to watch it over and over again. And I am happy as he will not only be memorizing the words but also learn to read.

There is a little bit of phonics involved too and I like how it is kept simple. Love the story lines and it is totally an awesome educational DVD to develop early reading skills. Thanks NCircle and keep them coming!

We had fallen a little behind in our reading schedule because of sickness and this interactive storybook has ignited the spark to read again.My son loves this raccoon and as we read aloud and he'll chime in with his own responses.These interactive storybooks are a great concept to keep reading fun and a big thanks to Hallmark for such a wonderful product. I love it too! It is a break for me to do something different than "just reading".

I think the Cat in the Hat DVDs by Ncircle are a great source of learning and entertainment for children. My son enjoyed the previous DVD that I reviewed and now as he is older, he understands it even more and laughs at silly and funny things. 

The feature I love about Cat in the Hat is the wonderful rhyming vocabulary that makes it more interesting to watch. As we are reading Dr.Seuss books often, the DVD has only generated more interest for my son and I am one happy mom! My son sat through the whole DVD as it kept his attention and at the same time influenced his mind positively.Thanks NCircle for such a great DVD!
