When I received these beautiful set of glasses for review from Ozeri, I could tell right away that it was a sturdy glass. I remember borosil back from school where we used beakers and tubes made of borosil for science experiments. It is a heavy duty material.Though I was reluctant to test it for shatter resistance, I am certain that they are.
The double walled glass offers good insulation for the drink and your hands. The drink is warm for quite a while ( I take 15-20 mins to have my tea) and hands do not feel hot while holding the glass.
I love the way the grip has been designed - no ears or funny handles to hold. Just a small depression on both sides that is good enough to hold the glass firmly. Since it is a smooth glass, I found it easy to clean and dry. I do not have a dishwasher, so I did not have the chance to find out about cleaning it in the dishwasher by exposing it in jets of hot water.
The small size of the glass also offers greater grip on the glass. It can be used to serve drinks, juices, ice tea, ice cream or any concentrated drinks. You can also use it as a portion control glass!
It is transparent in color so you can use your imagination to offer colorful choices to impress your guests. It comes neatly packed in a box and all you have to do is to use a little gift wrapper to turn it into a gift!
