"We are all God's children."
-Archbishop Desmond Tutu
This
special edition includes the original 2010 book, named best Children's
Religious Book from the 2011 International Book Awards. Not only will
children revel in more than 50 of their favorite Bible stories like
"Noah's Ark," "David and Goliath," and "Daniel and the Lions' Den," but
they will also enjoy these new features:
· Two audio CDs of Archbishop Tutu reading aloud each Bible story, enhanced by music and sound effects.
· A slipcase box, perfect for gift-giving, that holds both the storybook Bible and the audio CDs
Every story in this special deluxe edition artfully teaches
children about God's desire for all people to love one another and find
peace and forgiveness in their hearts. Parents will fall
in love with the stories they grew up with all over again as they
develop a new appreciation for them. This special edition, which hits
stores just before the holiday season, is the perfect gift for young
readers
I am all in praise for this special edition of Children of God Storybook Bible. We loved the first edition and I am more than happy to have my son listen to this book through the CD that comes with it. The illustrations are simply beautiful beyond words and my son loves to read it with me. The CDs come in a neat folder so that they go right back in. The book and the CD come in a neat slipcase and this will be such a beautiful gift for birthdays or Christmas!
